Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in Microsoft Word 2003 format. Documents created in MS Word 2007 format will be returned to the author.
  3. All URL addresses in the text (e.g., http://pkp.sfu.ca) are activated and ready to click.
  4. Paper follows all formatting guidelines specified in the submitter guidelines document found on www.GTTower.org. These requirements include, but are not limited to: the text is double-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are labeled, captioned, and placed at the end of the document, and are submitted as separate supplementary files.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the submitters guidelines found at www.GTTower.org.
  6. The text has had the authors' names removed. If an author is cited, "Author" and year are used in the bibliography and footnotes, instead of author's name, paper title, etc. The author's name has also been removed from the document's Properties, which in Microsoft Word is found in the File menu.
  7. A consent form has been signed by both the author and the author's faculty advisor. This form can be found at www.GTTower.org.
  8. An Author Biography form has been completed. This form can be found at www.GTTower.org.
